A weak battery or charging warning does not by itself prove that the alternator needs replacement. Before requesting a 105-2814 / 1052814 alternator, ask the workshop to separate battery, cable, drive-belt and alternator findings. Our listing identifies D3G and D4G applications; the equipment serial number and installed electrical configuration still need checking.

What evidence should come before the purchase?

DENSO recommends checking the battery, belt, wiring and voltage drops before condemning an alternator. Its guidance explains that poor connections can reduce charging performance and contribute to repeat failures. This is a diagnostic principle, not confirmation of the voltage or output rating of the pictured unit. Source: DENSO, Alternator troubleshooting.

Request a written result identifying test conditions, the battery condition and whether the fault remains after connection or belt problems are corrected. Measurements should use the machine's service limits; a generic passenger-car charging range must not be applied automatically to construction equipment. Record whether an alternator bench test was performed and which unit was tested.

Compare three repair scopes

Option and inspection condition Parts cost scope Workshop time Downtime and delivery considerations
Repair the external circuit or belt drive when inspection identifies that fault and the alternator passes the required checks. Connections, cables or belt-drive parts actually found defective. Fault finding and post-repair charging checks remain necessary. Can avoid waiting for an unnecessary alternator; confirm availability of the actual failed part.
Repair the alternator when a qualified repairer identifies serviceable internal faults. Specified internal parts, bench testing and any transport to the repairer. Disassembly, repair and testing add workshop steps. Depends on repairer capacity and parts availability; get a completion estimate.
Replace the alternator when replacement is justified and the exact configuration is confirmed. Complete unit plus any separately required belt or installation items. Removal, refitting and charging-system verification. Compare confirmed dispatch and transport against the repair route; replacement alone will not correct bad wiring.

Rear terminals and front pulley need different photographs

Rear view of alternator with electrical connector and studs
Figure 2. The rear view records connector shape and terminal positions. It does not identify terminal functions or provide a wiring diagram.

Supply the removed unit's complete label and rear-face photograph. Ask for confirmation of system voltage, rated output, regulation arrangement and terminal functions from reliable documentation. Do not infer these details from the connector outline or assign functions to unlabelled studs.

Close view of alternator pulley and front mounting housing
Figure 3. Pulley view: compare groove profile, diameter and offset against a dimensioned record of the original assembly.

For example, a replacement may appear to have the same mounting ears while its pulley position differs. This is an illustrative procurement scenario: pause the order until offset and belt alignment are documented. Do not treat a photograph taken at an angle as a dimensioned drawing.

Compare the total quoted repair scope, freight and retesting requirements. No fixed cost saving or workshop-hour advantage can be established without the actual diagnostic report and quotations.

Request a clearly scoped quotation

Send the identification details and inspection findings above to GUANGZHOU JIAJUE MACHINERY EQUIPMENT CO.,LTD, together with quantity and destination. Ask us to state the exact supplied components, supporting identification evidence and confirmed dispatch terms in the quotation.

These are purchasing checks, not a machine-specific repair procedure or a record of a completed customer repair. Product photographs show visible features; they do not establish internal condition, test performance or compatibility. Installation and testing should follow the applicable equipment service information.
