How do I install my Fuel Injection Pump after purchasing it?
Please refer to the "Step-by-Step Installation Guide" on our product details page, which contains detailed installation instructions for the 094000-0574 injection pump.
What precautions should I take before installing my Fuel Injection Pump?
System flushing is crucial. Before installing the new pump, the entire fuel system (tank, lines, and rail) must be cleaned to remove metal debris left by the old failed pump.
Is my machine compatible with this part number of Fuel Injection Pump?
If you are not sure whether this part fits your machine, please send us your Engine Serial Number (ESN) for free verification.
How long will it take to receive my package after I make the payment?
This depends on your country and region, as well as the customs clearance time in your country. Please contact us with your address and postal code so we can check shipping costs and estimate delivery time.
- System Decontamination (System Flush) — Before removing the old pump, drain and flush the fuel tank and fuel lines. Metal shavings from a failed pump can circulate and instantly destroy your new unit.
- Inspect the Transfer Pump & Filters — Replace both the primary and secondary fuel filters. Ensure you use high-efficiency (2-micron) filters. Inspect the fuel transfer pump for wear; if it is weak, the high-pressure pump will not receive enough fuel.
- Oil Quality Check — Change the engine oil and oil filter. HEUI pumps use engine oil to create high-pressure fuel injection. Dirty or incorrect viscosity oil will cause immediate performance issues.
- Lubrication on Install — Apply clean engine oil to the O-rings and the pump drive gear. Warning: Never dry-start. Fill the pump with clean diesel through the inlet before connecting the lines.
| Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Engine Won't Start | Air trapped in the fuel lines | Bleed the fuel system thoroughly |
| Low Fuel Pressure | Clogged fuel filters or a leaking SCV (Suction Control Valve) | Replace filters; inspect the SCV for debris |
| Black Smoke / Power Loss | Contaminated fuel causing plunger wear | Drain fuel tank; use high-quality diesel |
| Loud Knocking Noise | Improper timing or loose mounting bolts | Re-calibrate the timing and check bolt torque |
