Step-by-Step Installation Guide

HEUI (Hydraulic Electronic Unit Injection) systems are extremely sensitive to contamination. A single speck of dust can cause premature failure.

Preparation: Clean the injector bores thoroughly. Ensure no carbon debris, old O-rings, or fuel/oil residue at the bottom of the seat. Inspect the injector sleeve for pitting or erosion.
Lubrication: Apply clean engine oil to the three O-rings and backup rings.

Warning: Never use grease. Only use clean engine oil to ensure seals slide in without tearing.

Seating the Injector: Push the injector down firmly by hand until you feel it "seat." Install the hold-down clamp and bolt.
