External dirt and internal refrigerant-circuit contamination require different decisions. Before ordering a 520-00004 condenser, establish whether the problem is blocked airflow, a verified leak, or contamination inside the circuit. Poor cooling alone does not prove that the condenser needs replacement.

When cleaning remains an option

If inspection finds external debris restricting airflow while the condenser is otherwise serviceable, cleaning by the applicable procedure may be appropriate. The workshop should also assess damaged fins, the airflow supply and surrounding heat exchangers. External cleaning is not refrigerant-circuit flushing and does not remove particles trapped inside a condenser.

When replacement needs to be considered

A confirmed condenser leak or damage beyond an approved repair scope supports a replacement enquiry. Following a compressor failure, first identify the contamination and condenser construction. DENSO explains that solid debris cannot reliably be flushed out of the small passages of its multiflow condensers. Do not assume the 520-00004 pictured here has that construction: obtain the relevant technical identification before applying that decision.

Option and inspection condition Parts cost Workshop time Delivery and downtime
External cleaning: restricted airflow, with no established core failure Cleaning materials and any separately diagnosed airflow parts Access, careful cleaning and performance recheck May avoid parts delivery, provided the core remains serviceable.
Condenser replacement: a verified leak or unserviceable damage Condenser plus specified seals and associated items Refrigerant recovery, replacement and prescribed leak, evacuation and charging work Confirm the exact connections and availability to avoid a second parts order.
Circuit repair after internal contamination: scope determined by architecture and failure findings Required condenser and other affected components, itemised separately Broader inspection and cleaning or replacement under the service procedure Coordinate the complete repair package; a new condenser alone may leave the original cause unresolved.

Make the replacement quote installation-specific

The listing associates 520-00004 / 52000004 with DX180 and DX255. Verify the serial-specific parts arrangement, core envelope, mounting centres, connection positions and line clearance. Request the exact seal specification and clarify whether a receiver-drier is separate, integrated or outside the quoted scope; the photograph alone cannot answer this.

Have a qualified air-conditioning workshop define the refrigerant and oil requirements and the related service work. Compare the parts price with access labour, circuit service and time awaiting associated parts. No universal repair hours or savings can be assigned without that inspection and quotation.

Information to send for a quotation

Send the machine serial number, existing condenser reference, overall and port photographs, measured mounting details and the workshop findings. State whether compressor failure or internal contamination has been identified.

See the 520-00004 product listing or contact GUANGZHOU JIAJUE MACHINERY EQUIPMENT CO.,LTD. Request an itemised scope and confirmed availability and dispatch terms for your enquiry.

Evidence note: The listing supplies the reference and photographs. DENSO Subcool Condensers explains multiflow flushing limitations; it does not verify the internal construction or compatibility of this listed unit. This guide does not report a completed customer repair and does not replace the applicable service procedure.
