Pro-Tip: HEUI (Hydraulic Electronic Unit Injection) systems are extremely sensitive to contamination. A single speck of dust can cause premature failure.

Preparation: Clean the injector bores thoroughly. Ensure there is no carbon debris, old O-rings, or fuel/oil residue at the bottom of the seat. Inspect the injector sleeve for any signs of pitting or erosion.
Lubrication: Apply clean engine oil to the three O-rings and the backup rings. Warning: Never use grease. Only use clean engine oil to ensure the seals slide in without tearing.
